Adams County Justice Center Bond -

Shall The County of Adams, Nebraska issue its negotiable bonds in an aggregate stated principal amount not to exceed Thirty-eight Million Dollars ($38,000,000) for the purpose of paying the costs of constructing, equipping and furnishing a new County Justice Center, including a jail, sheriff’s office, dispatch/communications center and a video court room, and related improvements; such bonds to be issued from time to time, bear interest at such rate or rates, be sold at such prices, and become due at such time or times, all as may be determined at the direction of the County Board of Supervisors; and Shall the County cause to be levied and collected annually a tax on all of the taxable property in such County, which may exceed the County’s constitution limitation for levying taxes of 50¢ per $100 of taxable value, in an amount sufficient in rate and amount to pay the interest and principal of such bonds as the same become due?
