Ballot Issue 6A - Ouray County Regional Service Authority

Shall Ouray County Regional Service Authority (“RSA”) taxes be increased by $67,411.73 annually beginning January 1, 2021, and by such additional amounts raised thereafter by a maximum ad valorem mill levy of 3/8 (.0375) levied upon the taxable real estate property within Ouray County for ten (10) years annually, based upon the 2019 assessed valuation for Ouray County for the provision of health care services to the residents of Ouray County, Colorado, including, but not limited to: The continued operation of the RSA-Owned medical facility located in Ridgway, Colorado, together with the acquisition and maintenance of such equipment as may be necessary to reasonably operate said facility; The conduct of such studies and evaluations as the Board of Directors shall reasonably determine necessary in order to assess the adequacy of the current and future provision of health care services and whether additional facilities and/or services are required. And shall the RSA be allowed to collect, retain and spend the full amount of these revenues as a voter approved revenue changes without limitation or condition under Article X, Section 20 of the Colorado Constitution and Colorado Revised Statutes Section2 9-1-301, as amended, or any other law?
