Issue 17 - Proposed Tax Levy (Additional)

An additional tax for the benefit of Northfield Center Township for the purpose of providing fire equipment, for the payment of firefighting companies, for the purchase of ambulance equipment, for the provision of ambulance, paramedic and other emergency medical services operated by a fire department or firefighting company and for the payment of other related costs at a rate not exceeding 2 mills for each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to 20 cents for each one hundred dollars of valuation, for a continuing period of time, commencing in 2022, first due in calendar year 2023.
