Issue 2 - Proposed Tax Levy (Renewal and Increase)

A renewal of 1.4 mills and an increase of 0.5 mills for each $1 of taxable value to constitute a tax for the benefit of Defiance County for the purpose of providing or maintaining Senior Citizens Services or facilities that the county auditor estimates will collect $2,92,000 annually, at a rate not exceeding 1.9 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $48 for each $100,000 of county auditor's appraised value, for five years, commencing in 225, first due in calendar year 226.
