Pendleton County Board of Education Special Levy Election Ballot - School Board Levy

A special election to authorize additional levies for the fiscal years beginning July 1, 2023, July 1, 2024, July 1, 2025, July 1, 2026, and July 1, 2027, and for the purposes of maintaining and improving the instructional programs and the operation of school services in Pendleton County, according to the Order of the Board of Education of the County of Pendleton entered on the 5th day of July 2022, including, but not limited to: Safety and Security: Including, but not limited to, School Resources Officers (4), one located at each school, with benefits, and their related expenses including equipment; and additional security equipment and provisions including but not limited to, security cameras and upgrades, keyless door entry upgrades and replacements, door core replacements, outside lighting installations, phones and intercom upgrades, vaping/bullying sensors, alternative communication devices, software, supplies, safety window tint at ALL schools. APPROXIMATE ANNUAL AMOUNT OF $499,304. The additional rate of levy in cents per $100 assessed value on each class of property shall be: Class I 2.98 cents Class II 5.96 cents Class III 11.92 cents Class IV 11.92 cents
