Get StartedShall the County of Ogemaw, Michigan continue its levy of general ad valorem taxes which may be imposed for all purposes upon real and personal property in Ogemaw County, as provided in Article 9, Section 6 of the Michigan Constitution of 1963, as amended, by renewing the 0.1247 mills previously approved by the voters, and restoring the 0.0003 mills by which the prior rate was reduced, for a return to the full rate of up to 0.1250 mill ($0.125 per $1,000) of taxable valuation of such property as finally equalized, for four (4) years, 2024 through 2027, inclusive, which levy is estimated to raise up to $139,146.59 in the first year, to provide operating funds for veteran services? If approved and levied, a portion of the millage may also be disbursed, in accordance with State law, to the Downtown Development Authorities of the City of West Branch and the Township of West Branch.
