Get StartedIf approved, this Charter amendment would provide that if only two candidates officially qualify for the ballot, only a General Election will be held and the candidate receiving the highest number of votes in the General Election will be declared elected. A “YES” vote shall have the effect of adopting the proposed amendment to the City Charter. A “NO” vote shall have the effect of rejecting the proposed amendment to the City Charter.
