Question 1 - SPLOST

Shall a special one percent sales and use tax be imposed in the special district of Peach County for a period of time not to exceed six (6) years and for the raising of an estimated amount of $39,355,000 for the purpose of funding the following capital outlay projects: (A) PEACH COUNTY PROJECTS: Road, Street, and Bridge purposes including Paving and Drainage; Public Safety Facilities, Vehicles, and Equipment; Parks and Recreation Development and Improvement; Capital Improvements to Public Buildings; Code Enforcement Facilities and Equipment. (B) MUNICIPAL PROJECTS – CITY OF FORT VALLEY: Streets and Sidewalks Projects and Improvements; Water and Sewer Projects and Improvements; Public Works Facilities and Equipment; Capital Improvements to Public Buildings; Public Safety Facilities, Vehicles, and Equipment. (C) MUNICIPAL PROJECTS – CITY OF BYRON: Roads, Street, & Drainage Purposes; Water and Sewer Projects and Improvements; Public Safety Facilities, Vehicles, and Equipment; Capital Improvements to Public Buildings; Cultural, Historical, and Recreational Projects.
