Question 2 - Sale, Lease or Exchange of Real Property

Shall the Governing Board of Phoenix Elementary School District No. 1 of Maricopa County, Arizona,be authorized to sell, lease or exchange the following described parcel of real property, or any portion thereof, and use all or a portion of any such proceeds of any such sale, lease or exchange to purchase school sites and/or to construct, improve, equip and furnish school buildings and/or to purchase student transportation or other vehicles? The real property is described as follows: Parcel A: Site located at 1801 South 12th Street, Phoenix 85034 and 1901 South 12th Street, Phoenix, 85034, known as the Ann Ott school facility (approximately 9.5 acres). Legal Description for APN 115-40-105: That portion of Tracts 9 and 14, of the PLAT OF SECTION 16, Township 1 North of Range 3 East, of the Gila and Salt River Base and Meridian, Maricopa County, Arizona, by the State Land Department, according to the map or plat thereof, of record in the office of the County Recorder of Maricopa County, Arizona, in Book 8 of Maps, page 24 thereof, described as follows: BEGINNING at a point 15.0 feet North and 30.0 feet West from the center of Section 16, said point being the Southwest corner of Tract 9, and running thence North along the West line of said Tract 9, 317.60 feet; Thence North 89° 38' 30"" East 1295.93 feet; Thence South 2° 05' West 319.77 feet; Thence South 89° 03' East 64.25 feet; Thence South 2° 25' West 18 feet; Thence North 89° 32' West 1364.61 feet; Thence North 0°‚ 33' West 18 feet; Thence South 89° 33' East 17.88 feet to the point of beginning. Legal Description for APN 116-33-002C: PARCEL NO. 1: Lots 1 through 9, BANDY SUBDIVISION, a subdivision recorded in Book 7 of Maps, Page 26, records of Maricopa County, Arizona.
