Get StartedShall the Board of Trustees of The School District of Lancaster County, South Carolina (the "School District") be empowered to issue, in one or more series, in one or more years, general obligation bonds of the School District, in a principal amount of not exceeding $588,150,000, the proceeds of which shall be used for the following purposes: - Constructing, equipping and furnishing renovations to Buford Middle School; - Constructing, equipping and furnishing renovations to Buford High School; - Constructing, equipping, and installing safety and security improvements to schools in the Buford Community; - Constructing, equipping and furnishing a new elementary school for Indian Land; - Constructing, equipping and furnishing a new high school for Indian Land; - Constructing, equipping and furnishing additions to athletic support facilities at Indian Land High School; - Constructing, equipping, and installing safety and security improvements to schools in the Indian Land Community; - Constructing, equipping and furnishing a new gym and renovations at Andrew Jackson High School; - Constructing, equipping and furnishing a new elementary school for Kershaw as a replacement for Kershaw Elementary School and Heath Springs Elementary School; - Constructing, equipping, and installing safety and security improvements to schools in the Kershaw Community; - Constructing, equipping and furnishing a new elementary school for Lancaster as a replacement for Clinton Elementary School and North Elementary School; - Constructing, equipping and furnishing renovations to South Middle School; - Constructing, equipping and furnishing renovations to Lancaster High School; - Constructing, equipping, and installing safety and security improvements to schools in the Lancaster Community; - Acquiring and installing additional cameras and other safety-related improvements throughout the School District; - Constructing, equipping and furnishing a new School District Satellite Maintenance Facility; - Acquiring ten (10) new multifunctional activity buses and four (4) new less than 15 passenger buses with safety and security equipment for use throughout the School District; - Constructing, equipping and furnishing renovations to various elementary and middle school gyms; - Constructing, equipping and furnishing renovations to the District Office including an expansion of the Board Room seating capacity; - Repurposing North Elementary School to expand Career and Technical Education(CATE) programs and School District operations; and - Paying costs related to the foregoing, including architectural and engineering fees, costs of construction and related services associated with new and existing facilities, cost of land acquisition (as applicable), legal fees, and costs of issuance of the bonds?
