Get StartedFor the sole purpose of providing continued operating millage for the funding of Senior Citizens Services, previously approved by the voters in 2014 at the rate of 0.5 mills and reduced by the required millage rollbacks to 0.4981 mills, shall the tax limitation imposed under Article IX, Sec. 6 of the Michigan Constitution on general ad valorem taxes within the County of Ionia be renewed at the rate of 0.4981 mills, and shall the previoulsy authorized reduced millage of 0.0019 mills be restored, for a return to the previously authorized total millage rate of up to 0.50 mills ($0.50 per $1,000 of Taxable Value) for a period of eight (8) years, 2022 through 2029, inclusive? If approved and levied in full, this millage will raise and estimated $844,898 for the Countywide Senior Citizen Services in the first year of the levy based on taxable value.
