He wants to ensure that our schools and the development of every young Hoosier is intentional. Alex also believes in fully supporting, paying, and protecting our teachers and those who have devoted careers to developing youth. Alex is a product of public education and committed several years earlier in his career as a public school administrator who developed multiple programs to expose, mentor, and prepare students for careers immediately after high school graduation. He believes that EVERY student should be better prepared for adulthood, exposed to career opportunities, graduate from high school with more skills, and a plan to positively contribute to society through meaningful employment, college enrollment, or enlisting in our armed services. Alex is an advocate for safe, quality, and affordable housing. He has brought housing to the forefront of many community conversations and has also allocated local resources to addressing our housing problems. Though a lot of positive things have happening in our community to improve housing, Alex wants to do more to ensure housing and neighborhoods are better. In order to set our region up for future successes, we must have the right infrastructure that is safe and easy to navigate. The future of Evansville depends on ensuring that the companies in Evansville developing talent, our residents having access to high wage-high demand career opportunities, and are able to grow and/or attract business to our area.
