Get StartedProtecting women’s rights to make their own healthcare decisions and reproductive justice for women of color, trans folks, and women living in low-wealth and rural communities, because no one should be denied access to the reproductive care they need because of their circumstances. Learn more
Support victim-survivors of gun violence, domestic abuse, sexual assault, and gender-based violence through program development, funding initiatives, and ensuring our public safety initiatives center them. Learn more
I’ll fight for as your state legislator: Small business assistance and investments in local community-organizations for the continued recovery of hardworking Minnesotans as a result of COVID-19, and I’ll prioritize equitable economic opportunities for those historically excluded, especially women of color and lgbtq folks, so we can all thrive. Learn more
I’ll fight for as your state legislator: Expanded public pre-K child learning programs and services for students and their families in and outside the classroom. We must return to a model of fully funding education at the state level, removing the burden from local communities in the form of levies and referendums. Learn more
Fully and equitably funding public schools, including indexing the per pupil formula to inflation, increased in-school support services such as counselors and access to mental health resources, smaller class sizes, and special education programs so that every child can reach their full potential. Learn more
We must also ensure our kids have the most qualified educators for our next generation. The best way to do this is protecting our educators' right to collectively bargain, fair compensation, and ensure a high-quality teacher licensure process. Learn more
Recruiting and retaining educators and counselors of color to reflect the growing diversity of our students, and ensure the curriculum is culturally responsive and reflective of the needs of students. Learn more
I’ll fight for as your state legislator: We must ensure a just transition plan that invests and implements 100% clean energy, ends pollution, protects our air and water, and creates a future that is sustainable for all Minnesotans no matter where they live. Learn more
We also need to invest in climate resilient and green infrastructure, and invest more to protect and restore the health of our water, our soil, and our land. Expanded and equitable resources for lead safe homes, weatherization, and energy rehabilitation for renters and homeowners to improve neighborhood equity and sustainability. Learn more
We must also repair systemic injustices caused by economic inequality and racial discrimination, honoring Tribal sovereignty, land rights, and Tribal consultation in addressing environmental issues and stewardship. Learn more
Supporting Prove it First legislation to protect our water. Learn more
Strengthen and enforce our environmental protection laws and hold polluters accountable for the messes they create because clean-up costs shouldn’t fall on taxpayers. Learn more
Public lands belong to all of us and I will collaborate with hunters, anglers, hikers, bikers, campers, and all peoples to support programs and initiatives that allow every person in Minnesota access and opportunity to enjoy meaningful experiences outdoors. Learn more
We’ve lost too many lives to gun violence and related suicides. It is essential that we lift the ban on researching gun violence as a public health issue. This includes banning assault weapons, restricting magazine capacities, and requiring universal background checks. Learn more
I’ll fight for as your state legislator: Increased funding for mental health services in our schools and for adults in our communities, for drug treatment, and for homelessness and affordable housing so we are not criminalizing poverty. Learn more
I’ll fight for as your state legislator: Support the MN Health Plan to ensure every Minnesotan has full health care access. This must include affordable entry into the healthcare system, availability of needed services, and providers we can communicate with and trust. Learn more
Support for nurses, aides, and other healthcare professionals who are on the frontlines working to provide care and healing for our community, and ensure their right to join a union to bargain for patient care and decent pay and safe working conditions. Learn more
Higher reimbursement rates for home care and residential staff so that quality care can be provided in whatever setting works best for individuals and their families. Learn more
I’ll fight for as your state legislator: To ensure all Duluthians have safe, affordable, and secure housing we must address the roots of poverty and homelessness and meet people where they’re at, including intergenerational trauma, substance abuse, and mental health free of shame and without stigma. Learn more
Local Government Aid dollars which will allow the City of Duluth to provide vital services while holding the line on property taxes so the burden of providing local services doesn’t fall so heavily on struggling homeowners. Learn more
Expungement reform and landlord risk mitigation funds, which will help eliminate the barrier formerly incarcerated people face securing housing, and in preventing incarceration, gender-based violence, and substance abuse which are leading causes of homelessness. Learn more
Expand and preserve affordable housing across all income ranges using public bonding, state matches to local housing trust funds, and incentivizing private socially motivated investors and rental property owners. No one should pay more than a third of their income for rent. Learn more
Housing accessibility for those with physical and sensory impairment, and cultural and gender affirming housing with supportive environment and services for unique needs of each community member. Learn more
Support for first-time home buyers, especially low-income and households of color, to buy their own home and begin building generational wealth. Learn more

I support paid family leave for every Minnesotan. As a public servant, I’ve seen the impact that one person’s health can have on a family. It’s wrong to make workers choose between their livelihood and their health. I will fight for creating safer and healthier communities by making family leave universal. Learn more
