The Jordan School District spans several cities in the western part of our valley. West Jordan needs a liaison to the School Board who knows education and can advocate for the needs of our city's children and families. As a teacher, former principal, and education attorney, I can be this connection and voice for West Jordan. Learn more
Our world and our city are in the midst of a recycling crisis. Foreign countries are not buying our recycled products as they have in the past. What West Jordan recycles is being charged a much higher rate and then taken to the landfill anyway. Like the Trans-Jordan Landfill, I want to work with neighboring cities to develop our own recycling facility. Learn more
In November of 2018, voters adopted a new form of city government. In 2020, the newly elected West Jordan Mayor will become the executive branch of our city, rather than just a titled council member. We need an educated and informed council to keep a balance of power during this transition and ensure our practices match our policies. I will take an active role in leading West Jordan through this critical process. Learn more
