Restructuring the systems of public safety to ensure communities’ safety and well-being will be one of Anamarie’s top priorities in the State Assembly. Our healthcare system focuses more on disease than preventive care and is in urgent need of reform, especially to bring down costs for working families. As Assemblymember, AnaMarie will be focused on restoring a preserving the overall health of our community. Health care treatment only accounts for 10% of our overall health: food security, education, employment, housing, and the environment have a larger impact on our health and must also be addressed to sustain our community’s overall well-being.
