Support the PRO Act to make it easier for workers to form unions and bargain for their rights. Establish the right of every public sector employee to join a union and bargain collectively. Close tax loopholes and increase taxes on billionaires refusing to pay their fair share. Eliminate disproportionate tuition and fees at public colleges, universities, and tribal institutions of higher education. More oversight of Wall Street, more resources for regulators investigating financial crimes, and—if warranted—criminal prosecutions of financial industry executives who break the law. Renew Glass Steagall legislation to restore the wall between commercial and investment banking to protect families' hard-earned savings from being used for high-risk Wall Street speculation. Empower and provide resources for our antitrust agencies to regulate illegal corporate monopolies by price-gouging consumers. Support efforts to expand and protect the Child Tax Credit. Support efforts to ensure that any mega-corporation that benefits from federal subsidies or grants pays a living wage and implements responsible contractor policies to improve conditions for the workforce and people they serve. Broadening access to training opportunities for early educators, contracts/grants for bedrock funding, and providing childcare workers with a living wage, benefits, and a path to parity with comparable elementary educators. Government Reform

Ensure an ethical government accountable to the people through comprehensive protections for voting rights. Expand election security and reduce the influence of money in our politics. Support a constitutional amendment establishing an affirmative right to vote. Ban Members of Congress and their spouses from owning and trading individual stocks. Protect marriage equality for same-sex and interracial couples and formally remove Proposition 8 from California’s constitution. Passage of the Equal Rights Amendment (ERA) to the Constitution which will guarantee women equal rights in the United States of America. The ERA consists of the following 24-word statement: "Equality of rights under the law shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any state on account of sex. Increase spending oversight and transparency for any office at the Pentagon that is unable to pass an audit. Support legislation restoring the full weight of the John Lewis Voting Rights Act, including empowering the Department of Justice with the authority to supervise changes to state election laws that result in discrimination against racial or language minorities and may purposefully or inadvertently limit voters’ access to the ballot. Healthcare

Lower prescription drug prices, including capping the cost of insulin at $35. Lift the ban on Medicare drug price negotiation and authorize Medicare to negotiate all drug prices on behalf of all Americans, including the uninsured. Expand Medicaid home- and community-based services in order to help seniors and others in need of long-term care services remain in their homes and communities, including proposals to address the institutional bias in the Medicaid program. Increase regulation and fiscal transparency in for-profit nursing facilities where there is currently little accountability for corporate provider practices, leaving these entities free to put profits over quality of care. Cheyenne believes that access to affordable housing is a cornerstone of a thriving community. Cheyenne maintains that no one should endure the uncertainty of homelessness or the burden of an unaffordable mortgage or rent payment. In Congress, Cheyenne will fight for substantial investment in affordable housing units and work to remove the barriers to housing construction and availability. She will prioritize expanding resources for our homeless communities, including mental health services, job training, and supportive community services.
