With the State of Texas having a massive surplus, supplying additional funding to our public schools and teachers must be our very first step. I would be open to tapping into the Rainy-Day fund if we must, as every day is a rainy day for our Public Schools in Texas right now. Learn more

In addition to this, I believe we must restore our DEI programs, which have recently been banned by the legislature in the past session. And we must undo recent legislation that harshly targets our LGBTQ minorities by over-regulating school sports. Learn more

Environment / Energy

The State of Texas has a unique opportunity with its sun-score and wind - We should be incentivizing home owners to install personal solar panels on their homes. This will not only place our citizens in a situation where they may have a lower power-bill, but can also support our power-grid which is notoriously in bad shape, all while reducing dependency on local fossil fuels. For the sake of our safety. We absolutely must adopt Red flag laws, increase funding for mental health, and increase the age to own a weapon-of-war. Learn more

Healthcare

Texas deserves better - we should be accepting of the MediCaid Expansion program. Learn more

Housing

The reason housing prices are so high is due of two reasons - 1) The massive population increase in Texas 2) and more importantly, giant powerful corporations which buy several homes only to rent them out. As these corporations do this, they take houses off the market for the common person. My solution to this is to advocate for financially penalizing any entity (cooperation) that owns any more than 10 suburban family-homes within Texas. A legislative measure like this will not impact anyone except for these corporations that intend to abuse our market. Learn more
