Access to healthcare and bringing down costs is key to quality of life. As a member of the House Healthcare & Wellness Committee, I've worked to expand access and reduce costs, such as capping the cost of a 30-day supply of insulin to 35. I've also worked to make sure people have the most appropriate care, so that fewer people need to go to the emergency room for their primary care. Learn more
The price of housing has always been impacted by supply and demand. We need to increase the number of housing units across the state so that people can afford to buy a home. We bring down costs by streamlining the permitting process and allowing for more housing types, so that communities and property owners have the ability to build for what best serves their needs.
