I pledge to continue using my position as State Representative to advocate for veterans in our community, and to find ways to make sure they have access to necessary resources. Learn more

Education

I will continue working to secure adequate pay for qualified teachers in our community and also to increase the instructor to students ratios in our educational system. I will continue the push to include vocational education opportunities in our schools, to equip students with skills that can be used towards vocational career paths after graduation. Learn more

Government Reform

While in Springfield, I will continue to push for a five year ban on lobbying after legislators have finished their positions in state government. Learn more

Healthcare

I will continue to educate the community on medicare, work to expand insurance coverage to all Illinoisans at a lower rate, and secure better protections for workers in the event of illness/accidents. Learn more

Infrastructure / Transportation

I will continue to make sure that to see that The Rockford Casino is completed on time and that the jobs created there are good and well paying. I will also work to expand other business ventures in the area surrounding the Rockford Casino. Learn more

I will continue to sponsor and support legislation that invests tax payer money back into our transportation and infrastructure systems, such as road work, highways, and commuter rail projects that will make commerce more convenient for our citizens and local businesses. Learn more

Wages / Job Benefits

I will continue to create and support legislation that will retain and create good, high-paying jobs in our local economy. I will work to incorporate State reliance on renewable energy sources, such as wind/solar projects, to lighten the tax burden on non-renewable resources.I will continue to fight for local manufacturers such as The Belvidere Stellantis Plant, to keep them operating, prospering, and in our area.
