Get StartedAlthough legislation has passed holding law enforcement accountable for their actions, what has been lacking is better accountability towards the individuals committing the crimes. Too many of our neighbors have succumbed to car theft and even car jacking. A 'slap on the wrist' is not enough, and I hope to bring more light to this issue. Learn more
Now more than ever, they are carrying the burden of paying back federal loans given to CT during the pandemic, on top of having to deal with inflation, rising gas prices and the challenge of finding employees to hire at a livable wage. I will work hard to stop legislation from being passed that will hurt CT businesses. Learn more
Our district has a large amount of contaminated wells from Crystal Lake to parts of East Windsor. I hope to look into potential options when it comes to bringing these areas opportunities to get viable drinking water. We need to keep up on the data research, consider expanding the infrastructure if need be, and collaborate with neighboring towns who are also dealing with this. Learn more
People know their communities better than anyone. The Town Planning & Zoning Commissions are not only qualified to be making good local decisions for their own communities, but they are moving forward in innovative ways that will better improve zoning in the future. This is the question we need to be asking our politicians. Learn more
One thing that came to the forefront of issues during the pandemic was mental health. From our children to our seniors. CT needs to do better when it comes to providing resources for our residents. I will work to ensure that our District and the rest of the State has funding put towards programs that can help and improve peoples' mental health. Learn more
Working in construction and seeing first hand what families are put through, the significance of the Crumbling Foundation Fund is something that has aided in lifting some of the financial weight off of their shoulders. I will continue to make sure that money is delegated to this fund so that homeowners have a resource to turn to from the time they discover the problem up until their house is safely put back on a safe, new foundation. We are living in a time where the financial burden of inflation is hurting not only businesses, but families. Every dollar counts now more than ever. Gas prices are through the roof, food costs more, and although the suspense on the gas tax has helped some, it isn't indefinite and not doing enough to ease the financial burden. Suspending taxes, or increasing expenditures is not helping our District. I will help bring financial accountability back into the legislature, and put you first when it comes to how CT budgets.
