We need to create an environment in which teachers and students can excel. Reduce classroom distractions and update disciplinary policies that provide teachers and students a safe learning environment while recognizing adverse issues that our students may be facing. Provide a safe and effective learning environment for all students, particularly those with special needs Go well beyond the recommendations contained within the DOJ Agreement. Do a thorough review of all of the FCPS practices that led to the issues found in the report. Implement all of the necessary changes in order to provide our teachers with all of the tools necessary to serve these valuable students. Put in place policies, training, safeguards and oversight that supports students and staff. Provide an honest and transparent budget that provides the proper Teacher to Student ratio. Learn more
