Get StartedI support established law that permits the termination of a pregnancy that will greatly compromise, harm, or otherwise be irreversibly detrimental to a pregnant person. I also support a person's legal and medical right to terminate a pregnancy if the fetus is determined to be nonviable during pregnancy or after birth. Learn more

A person should be able to rely on health care providers to offer information without shame or judgment about all their medical options so they can make the best decision for themselves and their families. Learn more
I oppose any laws that specifically target abortion clinics and do not apply to all medical facilities (TRAP laws). Learn more
Since the US Supreme Court gutted the Voting Rights Act in its 2013 Shelby County v. Holder decision, multiple federal courts have found intentional racial discrimination in violation of the VRA. We need lawmakers to work together and restore the vote to every American citizen. Learn more
I support the federal Voting Rights Advancement Act (VRAA). It is a key piece of legislation that will restore the Voting Rights Act, and is central to any effort to build a representative democracy in which all people can be full, participating members. Learn more
Currently, the Louisiana Employment Discrimination Law prohibits employers with 20+ employees from intentionally discriminating in the compensation of any person on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, pregnancy (including childbirth and related medical conditions), sickle-cell trait, or protected genetic information. I believe this law should extend to all employers, regardless of the number of people they employ. Learn more

I support the right of persons with medicinal marijuana prescriptions to grow a certain number of their own plants for personal use only. Learn more
I support the creation of a State “Office of Marijuana Policy” similar to the department created in the State of Maine. I do not believe that the Louisiana Department of Agriculture & Forestry should be tasked with inspection, regulation & oversight of marijuana production. Learn more
I support the legalization of recreational marijuana in Louisiana for persons who are at least 21 years old. Learn more
I support the legalization & regulation of medical marijuana and CBD oil in Louisiana. Learn more

I support consistency and full transparency regarding the "scoring" of our publicly funded schools, specifically our schools' overall letter grades, classroom quality ratings, and accountability formulas. Learn more
I support universal, public, early childhood education programs like pre-kindergarten and Head Start programs. Parents should be allowed to opt in or opt out of these programs based on their choices for their children. Learn more
Comprehensive sexual education should be available to all children in Louisiana's public school system and should require parental permission and SIECUS-certified instruction. Learn more
I oppose taxpayer funding, or "vouchers," for privately managed charter schools and parochial schools. Learn more
Oil and gas companies must strictly adhere to the requirements stated in their permits. They must repair our coastline after digging canals and adhere to all rules regarding pollution and toxins. Learn more
I support dismantling and removing the Camp Minden burn chamber per the existing, legally-binding agreement, and the prevention of its private ownership and use. Learn more
I do not support the transportation of toxic substances to Louisiana for disposal. Learn more
I support the protection of human health and the environment via the mandated implementation of safe alternatives to open air burning, detonation and non-closed loop incineration/combustion of military munitions. Learn more

I support establishing separate family courts in each parish. Currently, the only parish with a designated, specialized family court system is in East Baton Rouge Parish. Family Courts would have jurisdiction over certain matters, including divorces, community property division, spousal support, child visitation, child custody, child support, and domestic violence. Learn more

I support mandatory professional training and certification for all persons prior to their purchasing a gun. Learn more
