Ed is an outspoken critic of the Trump administration’s decision to terminate the Deferred Action on Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program, and has been at the forefront of the fight to pass a clean Dream Act to provide a pathway to citizenship for Dreamers. He has criticized the lower refugee resettlement cap for fiscal year 2018 — the lowest in the history of our nation’s resettlement program — and has introduced the GRACE Act to prevent a U.S. President from setting a Presidential Determination on Refugee Admissions at a level below 95,000 in a given fiscal year.
