We must act immediately because the natural resources we depend on for our livelihoods are being devastated. I support the Clean Energy Jobs legislation, which seeks to cap carbon emissions and invest in clean energy initiatives, especially in our rural communities. Our rural communities and small businesses lack the capital for these upfront investments, and, without it, they will be left to fail. I support HB4005 in the current legislative session which requires owners or possessors of firearms to secure them with a trigger or cable lock, in a locked container or in a gun room, except in specified circumstances--something that responsible gun owners already do. Prevention of violence is preferable to punishing the perpetrator after violence occurs. Learn more
