School Choice As a parent myself, I firmly believe it is not only a responsibility but a right that parents can choose where and how their kids are educated. I feel we need to shift our focus to investing in our students , our children, instead of institutions. Steps have been taken to fund some through who choose to send their child to a private or charter school via student vouchers but there is more that we can do to give all children and families that opportunity.
