Get StartedWomen’s medical decisions should be between themselves and their doctors. Learn more
I will continue the fight to ensure full equality in all aspects of life for Hoosiers. Learn more
I will work to implement stronger equal pay laws, encourage more collective bargaining by women, and advocate for a living wage. Learn more
I will work to pass stronger legislation to protect women from domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking. Learn more
We need to offer more funding to non-profits and other programs that are better suited to help with job training, mental health, and other issues. When they return home, our Hoosier veterans should have all the resources necessary to succeed. Learn more
We must also protect our veterans from schools or programs that seek to take advantage of the guaranteed tuition payment offered to military personnel. Learn more
I will try to implement a transition home program for all returning service members. Learn more
We need to continue to incentivize employers to hire Hoosier veterans and offer ongoing trainings in resume writing, interviewing, and job preparedness skills. Learn more
Finally, medical professionals should be encouraged to limit the amount of opioids prescribed, and other pain management options such as medical marijuana should be considered. Learn more
As well, all first responders should have access to and be trained on the proper use of Narcan so that Hoosier lives can be saved. Learn more
We must ensure Hoosiers are educated about preventing abuse as well as provide more treatment centers for those who are struggling with addiction. Learn more
We also need to provide opportunities for training in our jails and prisons so that non-violent offenders are given the tools necessary to integrate successfully back into society. Learn more
We need to offer training to those Hoosiers who may be unemployed or lacking the necessary skills to qualify for open positions. Learn more
I believe in a strong public education for all students, regardless of their zip code. Learn more
I believe the state needs to tie tuition rates to the average inflation rate, as well as offer students the option to refinance loans to the prevailing interest rate. Finally, our legislators need to offer Hoosiers more ways to earn a college degree tuition-free. Learn more
However, we Hoosiers can do our part to combat global warming. By encouraging growth in renewable energies we can support the fight against climate change. Learn more
I am a proponent of Indiana moving toward expanded use of renewable energy sources to reduce our dependence on coal and to help create new high paying jobs. I believe all Hoosiers should have safe water to drink and clean air to breathe. Learn more
We need to promote a positive environment for our students to learn and thrive. While Indiana does have an anti-bullying law, we need to make sure it is strengthened and that schools properly report the instances of bullying. Learn more
I believe voters should pick their elected officials rather than elected officials picking their voters. To ensure fair elections, we need to implement an independent commission to draw the district lines so that all Hoosiers’ voices are represented fairly. Learn more
I believe all people should have access to quality, affordable health care regardless of pre-existing conditions or the ability to pay. Learn more
We will need to work to ensure those who do lose coverage are able to receive it through other programs. I will support expanding the necessary programs to help all Hoosiers get the health care they deserve. Learn more
A living wage will benefit everyone by reducing the poverty level in our state, saving taxpayers money as dependence on government programs decreases, and fueling economic growth by increasing individuals’ spending power. The time is now for all Hoosiers to have the opportunity at a better life. Learn more
I believe teachers should be paid relative to their pivotal role in our society, and no teacher should have to provide meals or supplies from their own pockets. Learn more
