More recent legislation will require the Kentucky Department of Education to make a “dyslexia toolkit” available to school districts. This aims to help identify and better instruct students who display characteristics of dyslexia. Also, Kentucky high school students will now be enrolled in a financial literacy course, encouraging financial stability in our youth. I have been pleased to secure road improvement projects for our residents, which will address our worsening traffic congestion. The focus is always on road safety, however funding will also help meet future demand caused by planned housing developments in the area. I will continue to fight for transportation solutions.
