Even with the recent measures to curb skyrocketing property taxes, there is still much to be done to put Texans first. We need to continue to work to ensure that Texans aren’t taxed out of their homes, starting with tackling county appraisal districts head on. At the state level, we are passing property tax cuts, now we need to fight to stop county appraisal districts from raising the value of homes for their revenue benefit. Learn more
