Central among John's core values is a belief that every human being deserves to rest their head on a pillow in a safe location every night. John understands many of the complexities associated with the affordable housing crisis and intends to remain open to private-public partnership, sophisticated acquisition, joint venture, collaboration among intergovernmental agencies, and the centralization or decentralization of resources. He pledges to unapologetically advocate for the repurposing of unused available spaces in cities like Newark and Jersey City. Learn more

John Flora understands just how reliant the constituents in NJ-10 are on Social Security benefits, Medicare, and affordable prescription costs. His own parents still work full-time well beyond retirement age. Flora aspires to be an emerging voice on behalf of this growing population, in addition to the often overlooked population of family caregivers. He is a supporter of raising the cap on income subject to SS payroll tax (currently set at 168,000) and reigning in Medicare costs by allowing government to negotiate lower drug prices. Learn more
