Get StartedI would advocate to pass the SB 70 bill which would repeal the 1931 Michigan law banning abortions. Reproductive Rights are human rights and women and people who become pregnant should have the choice to make their own decisions during their pregnancies. Learn more
I believe in full equality for the LGBTQIA+ community, including non-discrimination policies for employment, housing, public accommodation, and health access. #protecttranskids. Learn more
I support full gender equality including women's health access, reproductive rights, and equal pay regardless of gender assigned at birth. Learn more
I believe in racial justice for all and that the injustice of systemic racism needs to be addressed through, but not limited to: comprehensive criminal justice reform, fundamentally re-imagining police departments and their roles in BIPOC communities, and investment in BIPOC communities. Learn more
I respect and support our Veterans and I do believe we should be doing everything possible to help them with resources they need to live a great quality of life. Our Vets deserve increased access to medical care and mental health services as well as housing support. Learn more
I will advocate for Marijuana to be legal at the federal level and also advocate for Caregivers Rights. The marijuana industry has created local jobs. Now we need our residents, with marijuana-related criminal convictions, to get their records expunged through the “Clean Slate” package so that they can move on with their lives and get better jobs. Marijuana needs to be legalized at the federal level and de-stigmatized. I also support an Open Market when it comes to the amount of dispensaries and grows that are operated within the district. As a mother and former daycare administrator I feel that all children and our educators need to feel comfortable and safe inside of their learning environments. I believe that our educators have the most important jobs, but their salaries do not reflect that. I support increases in teachers wages and increases in mental health services for both teachers and students. Learn more
Ensure the Great Lakes and critical sources of drinking water are protected from contamination by toxic chemicals such as PFAS. I will hold corporate polluters accountable, strengthen our drinking water infrastructure and demand protections that keep our communities, and our kids, safe. I agree that climate change is human-made, threatening our planet, and needs to be addressed through government action. Learn more
I completely support 2A but I am a firm believer that we need better gun laws to prevent unnecessary deaths, especially school shootings. I support legislation that would require adults to keep a firearm in a securely locked container if they know it is accessible to minors. If a minor obtained the gun and used it to kill or injure, the adult would face up to five years in prison. I support exceptions if minors have permission for activities like target practice and hunting. Gun-safety devices like safes, lock boxes and trigger locks would be exempt from Michigan’s sales tax. I believe that everyone has a right to feel safe and to be free from gun violence, and that the epidemic of gun violence in the United States is a public health epidemic that can be addressed through government action. I will fight to protect healthcare by standing up for people’s access to critical health services such as birth control, mental health services, and cancer screenings. Learn more
Most of all I believe that health care for everyone in America is a human right and I would support any and all legislation that would enable Medicare for all. Learn more
