Luana has been involved in pro-life work across the nation and internationally for over 35 years. She has been a pioneer of pro-life work in her local community, and was directly involved in the Life and Family Coalition which not only succeeded in shutting down the local Planned Parenthood Facility, but also helped establish a beautiful pro-life pregnancy center in her community. Luana has also had the privilege to testify before a congressional committee in Washington D.C. to defund Planned Parenthood. Luana has spoken internationally on the issue of abortion and what it truly means to be pro-life. Currently, Luana is the Iowa State leader for the international ministry, Operation Outcry, and has authored a book entitled, Singing in the Wilderness, which tells the testimony of her life story and healing from the pain of abortion.
