In regard to the military I believe the inability for Congress to pass a federal budget is hampering the effectiveness and future of our people in uniform. I would like to work on the Budget Control Act and the budget caps and across the board budget cuts. Learn more

I don’t see how the military can look into funding new projects or stabilizing maintenance if no one knows when or how much money will be available. Learn more

Economy

I will support legislation to instill interest caps for loans and lines of credit. Learn more

I support small business and will fight to lessen governmental paperwork, involvement, and regulation. Learn more

I will protect the Right to Farm and Ranch Policy and ensure we are actively educating the public as laid out in that policy. Learn more

I support the Farm Bill which allows water to be used for Hemp Farming. Learn more

Environment / Energy

I pledge to help raise our recycling diversion from the current 19% to the national average of 35%. Learn more

I support incentivizing manufacturing companies to come to Colorado so our recycling can remain in state and lower cost to the consumer. Learn more

I will ensure that Ag, Recreation, and wildlife water interests are protected. Learn more

I support recycling and believe we should develop and expand Colorado’s Recycling Program to bring more jobs and promote clean spaces. Learn more

I will fight the use of public and national park lands for development and Oil and Gas. Learn more

I pledge to help foster a gradual transition from Oil and Gas to alternative sources. Learn more

I will fight to hold private and government agencies, such as the EPA, accountable for past and any future toxic spills. Learn more

Government Reform

I do not think the founding fathers of our nation wanted to keep the members of Congress year after year after year. New thoughts and ideas that come with new members are paramount to ending age-old party animosity and the ruts Congress has fallen into when dealing with each other. Learn more

Guns

It would be ideal if everyone shouting about gun control knew what they were talking about. Learn more

Longer and more intensified background checks would be justified. Learn more

I do not believe gun control is the answer.  There is always going to be an underground market where if a person needs really wants to get a gun they can make it happen.  People who want to harm others will find a way. Learn more

The background system needs to be accurate and complete and available for all gun sales people to use. Learn more

Healthcare

I support separating health insurance from employment. Learn more

I support an income-based system where everyone pays something, eliminating free rides. Learn more

Housing

I will fight to make home buying a more user friendly process. Learn more

Immigration

I promise to protect our borders from those who immigrate illegally. There is a right way to come into the country, by making that route more accessible we can begin to weed out the bad seeds. Learn more
