Ranching in Nevada requires access to grazing lands. As a result of anthropogenic climate change we have devastated much of the previously usable grazing lands. In an act of conservation many lands that used to be available to ranchers for grazing are now off-limits because of failing indigenous ecosystems. The predictable response to this change has been and is increased costs associated with ranching. Suitable grazing lands are getting farther away, fewer in number and smaller in size. Learn more
