We must weatherize the Texas Grid in order to prevent a repeat of the deaths and disasters brought about by the 2021 winter freeze. The actions taken by Governor Greg Abbott and Republicans in Austin are not enough, and federal action may be required to ensure that Texans have access to energy in all weather conditions. We must allow the federal government to negotiate on prescription drug prices, and ensure that those savings are passed along to the end users who are the most in need, including those on a fixed income and retirees. For those who are unable to pay the sometimes exorbitant costs of life saving medication through no fault of their own, we should cap out of pocket expenses for their prescription drugs. Learn more
