We spend a lot of money to run the government. It is in our best interest to make it run as efficiently as possible. Good work has already been done but there is more to do. Not sure at this time where the savings are but we need to keep looking and nothing is off the table for review. Learn more

We pay too much for healthcare. Sherri is concerned about the impact of catastrophic health issues on people with no health insurance. Healthcare should be a right not a privilege. Investing in our health early will save us money later and prevent untimely deaths. Sherri supports reallocating money to improve health outcomes. We all pay more in taxes than we would like - property, sales and income taxes. Sherri is not in favor of raising taxes. Any tax increase should be a last resort. Sherri will carefully scrutinize incentives given to businesses and advocate for measurable outcomes. Learn more
Sherri supports workers having the right to organize and advocate for safety, wages, and benefits. Many companies are reducing benefits including eliminating merit increases, paid time off and reducing severance benefits. Non-bargaining employees have little leverage.
