As your state senator, I will defend the right of parents to enroll their children in the educational option that’s best for them, whether that’s in the public school of their choice, a quality charter school, religious private school, or homeschool, and government should not favor one of those options over another. Elevating Vocational Education High-quality vocational training should be available to those wanting to learn a skilled trade. While there are many benefits to a traditional university degree, we must never treat that as the only path towards a successful future. Learn more

I will defend the right of law-abiding Americans to join me in owning and carrying firearms and ammunition. Learn more

Housing

Housing challenges can impede economic growth anywhere but especially in our rural communities. While there is no single policy action that will adequately address the issue, I will be a guardian against legislation that makes matters worse and an advocate for those that begin to address the problem. I will fight for taxes that are low, and I will support responsible financial stewardship of every penny that goes into state hands. Learn more
