Education

For far too long, we have told our kids that college is the only viable path.  It is imperative that we seriously work to reduce the “skills gap” in our workforce by promoting 2-year degrees, apprenticeship programs, and workforce development pathways integrated with our high schools.  Arkansas education should support the needs of Arkansans. I support parental choice in education. I believe parents are best equipped to understand the unique needs of their kids, and I believe parents are best served when they have options.  That’s why I strongly support increasing parental choice when it comes to their kids’ education. Learn more

Healthcare

Access to healthcare is an integral part of a healthy workforce.  I will fight to maintain Arkansans’ access to care by supporting patient-centered healthcare reforms.  It’s high time we put patients and doctors back in charge of their healthcare.  I will do this by working to find free-market solutions to increase access to care in rural areas and supporting common-sense Medicaid reforms to help keep our people working and healthy. I support lower taxes and getting rid of burdensome government regulations.  Growing Arkansas’s economy is a top priority, and sometimes that means getting government out of the way so we can create jobs and put people back to work. Learn more
