Get StartedAs your Representative, I will file legislation to require all entities spending more than $1000 in any political endeavor to collect the same donor information required of political committees by Missouri Statute. I propose these restrictions apply whether the entity is a 501(c)(4) nonprofit, 501(c)(6) trade group or a limited liability company. This bill will also prohibit “clean” money PACs, unions, or political committees from accepting money from Dark Money groups. Learn more
As your state representative, I will work to eliminate the gas tax for hard-working, cash-strapped Missouri drivers. The fuel tax disproportionately harms low income and rural drivers. We drive further and have no access to public transportation. Missouri’s fuel tax unfairly burdens rural Missouri, yet our roads are often the last to see the benefit of these taxes. Rural Missourians deserve a break! Learn more
As your State Representative, I will push for a refundable tax credit paid quarterly to all small community businesses with gross receipts less than one million dollars to defray the impact of the increasing minimum wage. I want to strengthen small businesses and their employees. We can do both, and you deserve both. Learn more
I propose that Missouri scrap the fuel tax for passenger vehicles. The lost revenue can be offset by increasing the diesel fuel tax to match the rate of the surrounding states, increasing the aviation and jet fuel taxes, and increasing recreational marine vehicle fuel taxes. Learn more
We all know that $4.30 isn't a living wage; it's a slave wage. Tipped workers- usually servers, usually women- work for sub-minimum wages hoping to make up to the minimum wage. This is not acceptable. The minimum wage should be the minimum. Tips are paid for service above the minimum. Franchise corporations can and should pay at least the minimum. Small Community restaurants could take advantage of my proposed tax credit to remain competitive. Learn more
